Car Rental at KLIA & KLIA2 with Local Support

Compact cars such as the Perodua Axia or Myvi usually start from around MYR100–MYR150 per day. Sedans, SUVs, MPVs and premium models cost more.

Delivery and collection at KLIA are charged on top of the rental and depend on the partner's location. The final price also depends on your dates, rental duration and selected extras. Your booking summary shows the rental, delivery and collection charges, tax and the separate refundable security deposit before you pay.

A compact car suits one or two travellers with light luggage. For families or groups with large suitcases, choose an SUV or a 7-seater MPV, or a van such as the Hyundai Starex or Staria for bigger groups.

ARACAR arranges delivery and collection at KLIA Terminal 1 and KLIA Terminal 2 (KLIA2). This is a pre-arranged meet-and-greet handover with our partner, not a rental counter.

Our team confirms the exact meeting point, time and contact person with you before your rental begins. Select the correct terminal when you search, because the delivery charge is based on that location.

Tell the ARACAR team as soon as you know your flight is delayed and share your updated arrival time. We will arrange a new handover time, subject to staff and vehicle availability.

Handovers outside the partner's operating hours carry an after-hours surcharge of MYR70 per way. If you land late at night, enter your expected pickup time when you search and mention your flight number to our team.

Choose KLIA Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 as your return location and agree the return time and meeting point with our team before your trip ends.

Leave enough time for the handover and vehicle check as well as your airline's check-in. The car is inspected with you at handover and return, so return it with the agreed fuel level and note any issues straight away.

One-day rentals use self-collection and self-return at the partner's branch, so terminal delivery is not available for them.

For delivery and collection at KLIA Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, book for two days or more.

Yes. Different-location returns are available for rentals longer than one day. Select "Return at different location" when you search and enter your return address to see the applicable charges.

This suits travellers who land at KLIA and finish their trip in Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya or another supported location.

Depending on the car and host, either a full-to-full or same-to-same fuel arrangement applies. Return the car with the fuel level recorded at handover.

Most highways from KLIA use cashless tolls. Most ARACAR hosts offer a zero-balance Touch 'n Go card as an optional add-on, which you can reload. Kuala Lumpur city centre is around 55 km from KLIA, usually about an hour's drive depending on traffic; Cyberjaya and Putrajaya are closer.

Foreign visitors should bring their original, valid driving licence. Holders of valid full licences issued by ASEAN countries can generally use those licences, with a certified English translation if the licence is not in English.

For non-ASEAN licences, prepare a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) together with your original licence. An IDP does not replace your driving licence. Contact ARACAR before booking if you are unsure whether your documents are accepted.

Malaysian renters should prepare their MyKad and valid driving licence. Foreign visitors should prepare their passport, original driving licence and the IDP or certified translation required for their licence.

The deposit depends on the selected vehicle and booking terms. Check the amount before confirming; it is separate from the rental charge.

Refunds are processed on the next Friday after your return date, following return checks and a review of any outstanding charges.

Basic vehicle insurance is included, but an excess can still apply. Optional CDW or SuperCDW may be available for your booking. CDW and SuperCDW can reduce the applicable collision-damage excess, subject to the rental terms, exclusions and incident-reporting requirements.

A damage waiver is not a separate insurance policy and does not remove every liability. Windscreen protection is separate, and tyres, lost keys and undercarriage damage are not automatically covered. Review the protection details for your selected vehicle before paying.

Rental periods are based on 24-hour days. Beyond completed rental days, less than 4.5 extra hours is charged at the selected car's hourly rate. At 4.5 extra hours or more, one additional full rental day applies.

Use your actual pickup and return times when searching. If your plans change, contact ARACAR before the agreed return time to check an extension.

Contact ARACAR with your booking reference before changing your plans or extending the rental. Changes depend on availability, the rental schedule and any price difference. An extension does not necessarily recalculate the original booking at a new weekly rate.

Cancellations at least 72 hours before the rental start may qualify for a refund, subject to any non-refundable processing or administrative charges in the booking terms. Later cancellations, no-shows, missing required documents and unused rental days may be non-refundable. Review the applicable terms before confirming.

Any additional driver must be registered, meet the rental requirements and provide valid driving documents. Additional-driver charges may apply. Please arrange this with ARACAR before handover so the approved drivers are recorded correctly.
